It’s berry time in Indiana. Lovely strawberries this year. In a couple of weeks the black raspberries will be ripe. Love growing our own fruit. Later this summer our peaches will be ready, around August.
Big crop of strawberries this year. Giving away most of them so they don’t go to waste. Thought my SSk Moki barbwire jigged knife would look good in a pile of these.

Beauyiful knife, landscape and images Q, I like your composition.

Distance to your knife impacts depth of field. The farther away your knife is from the phones camera, the deeper (larger) your depth of field will be, meaning more of the landscape will be in focus. You can then edit your photo to crop around the knife and the landscape will be more in focus.

You could also try tapping to set focus by opening your iPhone Camera app and simply tapping on the part of the scene where you want the focus to be sharpest. A yellow square will appear to show the focus point. For landscapes, it's generally best to tap on an element in the middle ground of your scene to ensure a broader area is in focus.

Fortunately with digital images it costs nothing to try a whole bunch of settings to find what works best for you.

I can sympathize with you, Q. It can definitely be challenging to get everything in focus with a distant background. But your pictures still look great and glad to see you're getting that Mammoth out for some Ivoryman inspired shots. ::tu::

Looks like your berries hit about 2 weeks before ours did, I took this picture last week. Posted over in the edc thread at the time but I'll repost here for relevance, though your knife is in a totally different realm than mine.

My family is all from Lafayette. I was born in West Lafayette and lived as a Hoosier for 5 years before heading north. What part of the state do you hail from?
