Thank ye fellers for the kind comments re: the Remington photo results.
Set up on front porch early a.m. light w/knife facing east with mild
overcast while sun still below the treetops.
Honest, if I can do it anyone else can too as long as they have one
good eye and their tripod ain't broke.

Holey cow WJ. I didn't know picture taking was that complated. What was the the Barametric pressure and temp in celcius. Does Pollen count affect anything?

All kidding aside your skill with a camera is outstanding. There is one of a blue Marbles I filed into my pictures. I use it for a background sometimes. I hope it's not copywrited?

J.W., to my way of thinkin' (don't try this at home) the photomographical stuff
ain't really complated, just requires some preparation and formulation in moderation.
Probably would have simplified things if I'd just said the light source was behind the camera, huh?

Glad you like the blue Marble one, your personal use is okay w/me.
If you manage to make a couple of million with it just please remember where it came from.

I haven't copyrighted them or even put a watermark on them yet which apparently is more
complated than just taking photos. I did manage to download a computer destroying virus
to attach to the picture URLs to discourage unauthorized use.
All I gots to do is push this dayglo orange button......

Took the photo with the Canon Power shot then resized it to about 1/2 . . Gram's little Cat she carried in her coin purse for as long as I remembered. She passed away in 1957. This little jewel was in my little box. She made a box for each of her 3 grandsons. Each of us got a couple knives and other mementos.

I really am humbled because I'm usually a crappy photographer.
But hey,,,, we all know about the blind Hog, right?

Sure is allot of pretty back drop laying all over the ground these days. ;>)
I'll try a few more today and post em if they don't stink to bad.

Levine calls these "dogleg serpentine pen knives." My little RJ Richter is the only one of this pattern I have.

I wish I had something to store in it! My daughter has made dozens of those things for Christmas and they are laying all over the house. Unfortunately, they are too small to store knives in.

I think it has to do with the military knives of WWII, but Kabar may have a mystique even more than Case. One thing is for sure, when I carry a Kabar in to show around at work, it always draws a crowd.

Well,,,, not an El Camino, and not even really knife related for that matter, but here's a pic of the three rifles that ammo fits, and a truck that's almost as good as an El Camino.

Actually, I think El Camino translates to "The Highway", but I do not hablo Espano so well.

Sorry,,, I'm old.

To me,,, an El Camino's a vehicle, and I never (and I mean NEVER) use the term "Awsome" or "Like" in conversation.

I do however have a penchant for Knives, Rifles, and Vintage Pick Up's and thought others might enjoy my humble collection.
