Re: Knife Photography
Had some fun with the camera today.

I kinda went for an antique look with this photo. I changed the temp on it to give it a better look.

Caleb those look great, especially the top angled view in the second post. I don't see many pics set like that but it seems to show off a knife at its best IMO.
Keep em going

Caleb, I have one of those GEC doglegs in natural stag, and it is a honey. I am just beginning to experiment with photography, so please don't be too hard on me; Here is a Prussian Charles Daley in heavy ten gauge with brass and a NYK jack.

Sweet old side by side!!
Good composition but that maroon towel kind of kills it. Fool around with different light and bit lighter background for better contrast.
I like the way you arranged the knife and cartridges. Keep burning those pixels.

Re: Knife Photography
Indeed, with a different background that side-by-side and knife pic would probably win!
Maybe even futz around with the original pic on your 'puter. Up the contrast a bit and see what happens....

Nice pic Tongueriver! I like the background color. I think it gives it that oldtime low light look, kindda makes it look more authentic somehow. I've been trying to achieve somthing like it, but alas, I don't know what I'm doing

Re: Knife Photography
Those are some pretty good pot shots my friend.
I like that you have your own style to it, it's about your knife as much as it's about where your knife is at. I like that.
Clicking on the pics and seeing them blown up is the way to fully enjoy them, it shows how clear and crisp they are.
Here is a pic I took before going out to try an bust a bunny.

I'm quite pleased with this one. Of course the subject matter helps.
