Sad ain't it, but I like the looks of the RR better than the Case or the Hammer. ::dang::

That one would be a little unusual, wouldn't it, since it is capped?

They made a ton of these Murph, most of what you'll find today will be in red, black and pearl. If you're lucky enough to find one like this, Bengal Orange, or a Green Zebra, like JoeDirt has, hold on to it!

Man you guys have some super nice Barlows. Here are some of my Robesons. Along with some Furness family Barlows and IXL's and one Eye Witness and a Southern & Richardson Bird's Nest and a AFC. Barlows have been my favorite frame since I was a child. Seems as though I had an Imperial of some sort growing up. Of course no one considered it evil to give a boy a knife. I am raising my grand-daughter. She is 13 and has a nice collection of her own! S

Great barlows you're showing Randy. I've never heard of Furness Family or AFC but I sure like them!

Thanks Johnnie, that Robeson was a gift from Ramrod. Very sweet strawberry scales on it. I've got a couple more around here that I haven't taken pictures of.

I believe someone has posted a photo of this maker in a one blade version, but it is rare enough a two blade won't hurt. S.E. Oates and Son - England
