Re: Knife Photography
I actually took this picture in a dark room with no flash. Tried to play around with the saturation and exposure levels to show off the metallic purple and orange colors in this "mystic heart corelon" handled H&R I got for a song from Gary (aka Wishful).
Thanks Wish, it's going to church with me tomorrow!

I think you captured the many aspects of color and sparkle to the handles Blue.

Re: Knife Photography
I've had my eye on this one at the local discount store for some time, finally bought one today. The flag on the end of the box was a pleasant surprise. (Is it my imagination or do the pics load up faster now?)

Thanks, guys! I've been thinking of putting handles on it, that would be a fun project.

Re: Knife Photography
It will probably take you awhile to get it perfect....I built a light box..turned out some good pics.
Finally threw it away...because I'm always cramped for space.
I had a totally white front....with a square opening in the middle to shoot through...and of course used a tripod.

Part of that is your camera Tim. When I had my other camera, Canon Power Shot, it did an excellent job at outdoor shots. I know exactly what you're talkin bout there.
