New camera today. Canon Power Shot ELPH 300 HS. 12.1 MEGA PIXELS.

Went for a hike in the woods today, and stuffed my pockets full of knives to snap shots of, since I was bringing the camera along anyway. They are certainly nothing special cosidering some of the amazing shots posted here, but I am learning as I go. I'll post them up in batches, might as well start off with a couple of Bears, since it was a nature hike....

Thanks Johnnie, here's another one of the Bear transition trapper, I was walking along the edge of a newly planted corn field and from a distance I could see this freshly splintered stump, and I though it looked like a good match for the bonestag handles...couldn't get it to come out quite like I wanted but this is what I've got. I kept waiting for the sun to go behind a cloud but it just kept shinin' so I had to forge ahead...

Thanks Johnnie, I think I'm a little jaded now, still not seein what I want to. ::shrug:: I wish I could explain it but there's something. Maybe I need to sell all my knives and start over. ::facepalm::
