Hey thanks for the encouragement Big Monk! I'm still not in the same league as you or some of the others here that is for sure. But I am trying to keep my eyes open to "knife shot opportunites" around me. My wife thinks I'm a bit wacky for snappin some of these knife shots, but oh well,....I am a bit wacky, so that's ok!

Dang, Big Monk, that is a beauty on both sides, love it! Great pics too, really do a nice job of highlighting the unique grain of the wood!
Here are some freshly harvested carrots (my daughter likes 'em small) in the rinse pan with the Sodbuster that helped bust 'em out, and an old Camillus that I thought would look good in there due to it's orange-ish coloring...(my wife once again shaking her head at my escapades)

A little back lighting might help with those dark shots or a sunny afternoon outside. ::nod:: Nice accumulation Si. I as well like the Eye brand/Carl S. and have a couple myself. I guess as you might have figured out that it's hard to go wrong with a well made Case XX, Tested or any of the USA made Case knives. Thanks for the Pics. ::tu:: ::tu:: Rocky

I know I am one of the worst photographers on this site but I like these pics that I took in the past. They still are not in the same class as a lot of you guys. They as far as my picture taking skills go, LOL.
Hope someone enjoys them. ;)

Nice pictures Gino and you're not the worst picture taker on AAPK. I ain't sayin' who is but it's not you. ::paranoid::

sidog -- Not perfect but improved with a couple of mouse clicks in Photoscape, a totally free image manipulation program that can be downloaded from the Internet.

Had a second photo of this piece but for some reason I cannot add it. Will probably figure it out one day.
