Caleb,That is an awesome knife! But I again have to say what a remarkable eye you have for photography! The hues/colors,textures,details and lighting are the best I've seen young man. When your showing a knife your pictures make me want to linger and take it "all" in. I as well as others have and again strongly suggest that you put together a portfolio and ring a few doorbells at some of the outdoor sporting magazines, knife/gun magazines or cutlery companies. I will go so far as to suggest that Bryan give you a chance to put together various knife photos for a AAPK calendar. I know I would buy a couple and it would not only give you exposure but also raise monies for AAPK. I wish for you the very best, Caleb. Remember throughout your life; Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck- Rocky ::tu:: ::tu::

Rocky, your comments are greatly appreciated.
We'll see how it goes, I'd love to do a calendar for AAPK and maybe I can get one done sometime. I'll have to talk with Bryan about that and see if we can't get it done. ::tu::

Here are a couple new pics.
Just a couple cheap Imperial brand knives.

No offence Scott, but I believe that young man could go to anyone's neck of the woods and put out amazing knife art...he's that talented. ::tu:: ::tu::
He has an artist eye which is rare to come by. Great reciepe for a special future opportunity for this young man. I strongly believe that he could photograph a calender for AAPK as a money making venture for AAPK's web site and an opportunity for Caleb to gain exposure and hone his skills in the marketplace of outdoor photography. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

That's a good idea Rocky. Caleb, you could do two calendars, one all GEC for Great Eastern and one of various knives (S&M, Case, GEC, Schrade, etc). Some new knives like that Red Stag 72 and some old such as Willie's early 1900s Hobo. You belong to enough forums, I believe you could sell quite a few. Plan far enough ahead of time, get the money up front and print only the ones that were ordered and you wouldn't have hardly any left over. I know I'd buy one.

I appreciate the idea guys, I'd be honored to do one for AAPK.
I seriously will talk with Bryan sometime this week and see if he'd like to try something like that.

As far as different brands and such go, I am definitely open do doing a bunch of things and am open to ideas. If anyone has a connection to print shop that could handle a Calendar, please let me know.

Well, frogs. My daughter managed a print shop for over 15 years but just recently quit and changed jobs (and career paths).

Wait. Wait. One of the gals who goes to our weekly Wings get together is a graphic artist for a print shop in a little town just north of here. Let me know if you're interested and I'll talk to her.

We could do a calendar on cafepress (maybe I could contribute a pic or two instead of JTS hogging the whole thing - oh crap, did I just say that) with the proceeds going to AAPK.

No offense taken Rocky.....I was just pointing out the woods because I CAN"T GET TO ANY!!!!!!!! :x

Ok so I posted a different couple of pics of this knife over in the Hammer thread, but I wanted to take a few better shots and post it over here too, just to show it off a little! I am really smitten with this little fella....
