LC -- We're of like minds. Although I truly appreciate most every picture in this thread, the vibrant colors, the interesting settings into which the knives have been put, my favorites are pictures like yours when the knife speaks for it's self. Artistry in steel and bone or stag or wood, etc, etc on a plain background.

Certainly not any spectacular shots, but I went on a little hike this evening and brought this Case Barlow along,...somehow the Boker found it's way into my pocket too....of course I've been edc'ing the Case so that one was in the jeans also....don't know how that old Colonial managed to stow away in my other pocket but I reached in and there she was..... snapped a couple of pics along the way, here they are...

I missed a lot of these...I don't think that I'm getting emails of "watched posts" correctly.

Heres 2 that I've taken and put in frames....with my limited space and mobility..this is about the best that I can hope for.
