Gino, terrific display of nice knives & shields.
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Interesting topic and some great shields posted here!

Here's a Ken Coats custom with an "Ace Of Spades" shield on both sides of the knife:

Here's an interesting shield on a pearl-handled Meriden Knife Co lobster. According to the marking on the bail, the shield is 10K gold.

A couple more. The first is on a Waterville pen and the other is on a Pribyl Bros jack. I picked up the Pribyl Bros knife specifically for the shield. :)

gypsumelec posted a Case Brian Yellowhorse with this shield in another thread ( http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... =2&t=30944 ). I asked and he said I could post the shield here. Very unusual. JohnnieR seemed to remember this shield was on a Red Hill Cutlery SFO.

I don't recall if this shield has been posted and I'm too lazy to scroll back though the entire thread so here it is again (?). It was on an Imperial fish knife on eBay.
