Here's an interesting shield on a pearl-handled Meriden Knife Co lobster. According to the marking on the bail, the shield is 10K gold.

A couple more. The first is on a Waterville pen and the other is on a Pribyl Bros jack. I picked up the Pribyl Bros knife specifically for the shield.

I don't recall if this shield has been posted and I'm too lazy to scroll back though the entire thread so here it is again (?). It was on an Imperial fish knife on eBay.
