Re: Knife Photography
Here are two pics of the same knife.
First pic indoors on kitchen counter (99% of my photos are taken here).
Second pic outdoors in overcast weather.
I never use software editing on my photos, they are what they are.

Tim, I see you have a real photographer there. Well done!
Hey Caleb, your Pinchin Pennies shot is a great theme! I like how the knife is spent.

Re: Knife Photography
Great job Breanna!
Tim, she can do your knife pics for you. Get her the tools she needs, and take her to shows and let her practice knife photography.
By the time she is out of school you will have a nice portfolio of your knives, she will have a great start on a career as a knife photographer! She can get rich and pay her own way through college, or just make lots of money as the youngest professional knife photographer!
Either way you have lots more money to spend on knives, (her college tuition)!

Re: Knife Photography
Well I finally found my #56 in Smooth Ivory Bone!
Super big thanks to Tom McLaughlin of AugustMoonCutlery, and every one else who helped to point me in the right direction.
Now it's time to have some fun.

BOOM!!!
Thats what I'm talking about.
This is the one man, thats a real beauty too, looks perfect for some EDC time. Love the warm glow on those scales, must be reflecting the user. That one is perfect my friend, so glad to see that you got it done. I was doubtful but here it is.
Congrats Mike.

Re: Knife Photography
I'm ashamed of it but I have a comment about the #56.
I don't like a knife that has the blade at a downward angle when open. I'm afraid I could never love a #56.
I destroyed a Rough Rider Canoe for that very reason.

Hmm Dave, I have never had a problem with that style.
What is the problem?
Here is the Moose.
