Here is another Waterville knife shield, like the one you posted earlier.
This is another knife from the "parts" box.

The jigged bone is pretty nice on this old knife!

Didnt see any Boker Shields in there.

Here's one I've not seen yet. Rob. Klaas of Kissing Crane fame. Not found anyone yet who can tell me about the single crane Klaas.

Sure hope you have some info for me. No one seems to know anything about this Crane Brand.

I suspect the Crane Brand knife you have was a knife that was imported by Max Klaas between 1907-1914. After 1914 Metropolitan Cutlery Co. of New York owned the Crane Brand trademark, it probably was not used after the 1940`s

It is unusual. I have not seen another.

I have an unmarked shield that exactly the shape of the "stainless" shield on page 2 or the Crane Brand pictured above on an unknown Trapper.

It has been said to be Schrade.

Any other thoughts?

I would certainly want that you would be correct on your dates, but I just don't think the knife is that old. Here is a full view of the knife, a 4-blade Congress

This second "jack" is unused.

Here is an unusual shield from the Girl Scouts.

It is on a New York Knife Co. Girl Scout knife.

Robeson BP shield.

Supposedly stands for Belt Punch.

Here's a fancy Rooster shield;

Neat shield on a Peerless cutlery, maybe by Robeson. Looks like a magazine premium; "Subscribe for two years and we'll send you a Harness Jack!"

Odd shield, odd knife!
Reportedly came from Albert Baer's pattern drawer. Has a number inked on it.

Here is a curved banner shield on an old Morley gunstock.

Cool shield on an Empire Fish Jack;

That Pearl handled Cigar is a HUMDINGER!

That Camillus is most unusual, not the usual jigging pattern you see, and the shield is one of a kind. Very Nice!
