Frank Wakefield passes

Influential Mandolin player, Frank Wakefield, passed on May 2nd at 89. He is best known for his composition of "New Camptown Races". He was associated with many Bluegrass acts and the "Newgrass' sounds of folks like Jerry Garcia and even Leonard Bernstein. Any mandolin player is certainly familiar with his contributions. J.O'.
