Seki Cut Linerlock Cocobolo Seki Japan
From a recent collection purchased from the fellow AAPK member. This is a Seki Cut linerlock made in Seki Japan. "In 1992, twenty outdoor knife manufacturers in Seki formed an Outdoor Knife Section at the Seki Cutlery Association to promote their outdoor knife products. In 1999, this group firms decided to work more closely together and sell selected products from each in the world market under the brand name of “Seki-Cut”." The green metal handles have what looks like cocobolo wood that is chip and crack free. The knife locks up tight with smooth deployment. The San Mai blade is made of VG-10 stainless steel and looks like someone used it once to open a box, a few scratch lines visible on the blade. The blade has some dark spots on it that look like glue that was not wiped off at the manufacturing. These are not corrosion spots and might well come off with the right treatment. Measures 3 7/8" closed OAL. No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch. Free shipping within the USA.
We understand that a "knife" is not just a "knife" so we treat each knife with care and respect. We ship only in boxes and never envelopes. We package to protect your investment in transit so that it doesn't get scratched.
