Protech Whiskers Design "Magic BR1" Carbon Fiber Handle
This is one of my favorite knives, I geuss thats why I have four of them. I had been a knife dealer & maker for 12 years so I kept many knives. This is one that I have carried for a few weeks so I put a new edge on it, trust me its sharp. I use a Tormac t-8. Beside a few marks on the clip it looks and works like new. It very powerful and locks up tight.
This knife doesn't open intuitively for most people, but you'll know the secret to its suave automatic action. The Magic BR-1 is a Mike "Whiskers" Allen design that utilizes a hidden bolster release; a simple, deliberate slide of the front bolster deploys the blade and also unlocks it. In tandem with the magical opening mechanism, the BR-1 has the signature Pro-Tech punch and minimalist design. This is much more than a novelty item; it's a capable EDC option and a part of your collection you'll be excited to show off.
