Official BSA #1495 Scout Knife Pal Circa 1940-1942 With Bone Handles (202)
This knife is 3.75" closed with a factory-correct and straight bail. This knife is referenced in Joseph Kerr's book '600 Scout Knives' as #PAL02BR as supported by the accompanying images. This was valued based on the excellent grade of this knife and recent sales for the same knife. The brown bone handles are without chips or cracks. The fully etched main blade with a half stop has good pull and snap with zero blade play when fully extended. The cap lifter/long screwdriver and 2-piece can opener, both without half stops, operate as designed. The awl/punch with a half stop is 100% full with the factory blueing intact. The brass frame and milled liners, nickel silver bolsters, and steel springs are in a condition commensurate with the grade of this knife.
This knife comes from a smoke/vape and pet-free home, will be carefully packed, promptly shipped and tracking numbers will be provided. There are no returns with this knife as all sales are final so please ask all questions and requests for additional images before making and executing a buying decision. Please know that this knife is also available for sale on other platforms and that this listing could end anytime. Check out my other knife listings and thank you for your kind consideration.
