Case XX 6143 Grandaddy Barlow 1940-1964
As is, as pictured. Beautiful 1940-64 knife in amazing condition for it's age. Blade looks to be 99%+ remaining. Small age spots which is typical on carbon steel blades of this age. Blade snaps open, closed and half stop with no play or looseness. Very nice bone handles with minor scuffs and scratches. One bolster has marks from either environmental damage or oxidation. I rate this knife a 7 out of 10 due to the marks on the bolster, otherwise I'd rate it an 8. Great old large Barlow!
