NOS rare and hard to find Vintage Italian OTF Trapdoor automatic switchblade knife made in maniago italy between 1962-1963, this is the second or #2 model made with the wire tensioner added for trapdoor, this knife was found many years ago in attic of old warehouse where these were made back in 1962 or 63 in Maniago Italy, NOS never fixed or repaired or a factory second, this is the Brazilian cow-horn handled model with chrome plated brass frame , brass pins secure the brazilian horn handles, does have lite scratches here and there but is expected for a 60 year old knife    , knife measures 8-1/4" in open position , stainless steel blade stamped ( C.Jul Herbertz Import) on front tang and  ( Patent Rostfrei) on back tang ,  original red dot safety , nickel/silver button and safety cap,lite scratches here and there on bolsters as well but expected for a knife 60 years old,everything works as intended. these work by pointing downwards push button blade will eject automatically and lock open, to close turn knife upwards push button blade will fall back into handle sometimes you have to tap blade a little for it to fall back in handle these are basicly new knives so thet will get better with use, once blade is down then use trapdoor to push blade down to cock it for next firing. knife is NOS and is in "as found" condition never cleaned or polished ,good spring on this one ,everything works as intended, being sold "as is" , any questions please ask.
