CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Aside from normal use there is little damage to this knife except the fine scratches on the blades. It appears someone used some sort of sharpening device on it that left the marks.

BLADE WEAR:   Approx 10%. It appears the tip may be a little short, a max of 1/8”

SNAP:   Good

ADDITIONAL INFO:      I am surprised how real use this knife has seen. Often when I find Kingston knives they have been pretty well used up.

The Kingston brand was an economy brand of New York Knife they closed in 1932 and Imperial later got the rights to the Kingston brand. During WWII Imperial & Ulster formed Kingston Cutlery Co as a manufacturing consortium so they could get more critical materials like steel & brass to make knives for government contracts. Kingston Cutlery Co. lasted from 1945 to 1947 when it was disbanded. Ulster continued to use the Kingston Cutlery name at least until 1958.† I am certain this knife was likely made after the end of WWII, likely in the 1950s or early 1940s.
