ADDITIONAL INFO:      This is the “Classic” Camillus TL-29, the military version their electricians knife. The TL-29 stamped on the handle indicates that this was indeed a knife purchased on a military contract. I am not sure when they stopped stamping the handles but I know the Camillus TL-29 I was issued in the Marine Corps in 1970 did not have the stamping on the handle. This handle material is called Rogers’ Board, although I do not know what material it is. Tom Williams, the late historian for Camillus Cutlery Company, told me that these were not Delrin handles but they were called Rogers’ Board. He said it was not the same company that had supplied Camillus with Rogers’ bone; they were two different companies.
