ADDITIONAL INFO:      I recall this series of knives from the cutlery store I managed in the 1980s and early 1990s. I have the smaller version of this knife the Challenger I. I used it for several years to cut boxes when I was receiving freight in the stores. There can be a lot of freight with three stores, especially during the holiday season. The Challenger series of knives are not the most expensive knives, but they are reasonably good quality knives for the price. I still have the one that I used when I was doing all the receiving for the three stores. The blade is down on my old freight knife by about 20% because it got a lot of use and consequently lot of sharpening. I am pleasantly surprised by how well my old Challenger I held up to a lot of use.

This Challenger III will go nicely in a lockback collection or in a Parker collection. It will also make someone a nice EDC.
