Sheffield Butcher Skinning knife. I have had this old Sheffiled blade for over 20 years and finally got around to putting Micarta handles on it. Forged carbon steel that is ground for a very thin cutting profile. The English gentleman I purchased this from said the blade was from a Sheffield factory that had long been closed. Thickness is 056", or less than 1/16"at spine. Handle is epoxied and secured with brass cutlers rivets. 6" blade 11" overall length. Blade is new with staining but no pits. Sharp and very serviceable knife.
