Chubby Hueske Custom Drop Point Hunter measures 9 7/8" overall with a 4 7/8" blade. Chubby Hueske was a Texas knifemaker who was one of the founding members of the Knifemakers Guild. He began making knives in the 1960's, passed away in 1991. This knife has been in my personal collection since 1987 and comes with the original cerificate that I recieved from Chubby with the knife. Sheath was done by Saddle Red's Shop as was the norm for Chubby's knives. Ziricote wood hanlde and D2 steel. Blade has a very few light pepper spotes at mid mark side edge otherwise in unused mint condition. Knife blade is unusual in that Chubby's knives were not often embellished with file work as this example is. Tappered tang and mirror pollished blade.
