here is one rare find Vintage Italian OTF Trapdoor automatic switchblade knife made in maniago italy in 1962-1963,this is the second/last model made With wire tensioner added for trapdoor, this knife was recently found in attic of old warehouse where these were made back in 1962 or 63 in Maniago Italy, this is the Brazilian cow-horn handled model with chrome plated brass frame with plating gone by top bolster , brass pins secure the beautiful brazilian horn handles with no cracks or bug bites, 8-1/4" in open position , stainless steel blade stamped ( C.JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT) on front tang and ( Patent Rostfrei) on back tang, original red dot safety , nickel/silver button and safety cap,lite scratches here and there but expected for a knife 60 years old,everything works as intended. these work by pointing downwards push button blade will eject automatically, to close turn blade upwards push button blade will fall back into handle then use trapdoor to push blade down to cock it for next firing. knife is in "as found" condition never cleaned or polished, 60+ years of patina  , being sold "as is" , any questions please ask.
