Case Tested 5161L Switchblade

This is a Case Tested 5161L lever release switchblade manufactured between 1920 and 1940 by the WR CASE & Sons Co of Bradford PA and it has nickel silver liners, bolsters and lever. The tang stamp and bolster stamp are clear. It seats deep with no peek. The action is smooth with good lock up every time when opening. There is a little blade movement which is typical. The front spring pin that holds the levers sear pin down may need reseating, sometimes you need to lightly push down on the lever to keep the blade locked in the closed position. This is an easy, inexpensive fix and the price reflects this condition. This is the smaller lever release knife made by Case and harder to find in good condition because they were carried and used more than the larger model. I provide a five day risk free inspection period in which you may return the item with no questions asked.
