The Microtech HALO III is a premium-quality single-action Out-The-Front (OTF) automatic knife.  A sky-diving term, HALO stands for High Altitude Low Opening.  The recessed titanium button with tritium dot both fires the blade open, and unlocks the blade for manual retraction via the recocking bar.  NO SAFETY BUTTON.  Unlike a double-action OTF knife, closing a HALO requires two hands, as shown in the linked video.  5 5/16" T6061 anodized black aluminum handle, 9 3/8" open, 4" 154-CM steel bead-blasted combo Tanto blade.  100% Made in U.S.A.
