American Made!

From what I can find about this maker, he is (was?) based out of Vermont. The knife itself is simple, yet somehow fancy looking at the same time. It's about 12.75" overall. The long clip blade would work great for carving a turkey or serving as what we call a "pig sticker" here in Texas. 

Based on my limited knife knowledge, I'm taking some shots in the dark here on the construction materials. The 8.75" blade is some sort of stainless steel. The one piece wooden handle is maybe maple? And appears to be held on with nickel silver pins. The cross guard seems to be some sort of aluminum alloy. Blade etch reads RE Haselton.

Whatever it is, it looks great and feels like some solid craftsmanship went into its construction. It also comes with a beautiful, hand crafted leather sheath.
