Shaw-Leibowitz Sterling Silver American Independence 2-Blade Doctor's Folding Knife -- RARE!!! (IMG_3916)

Mint Condition -- Never Carried/Used/Sharpened/Polished/Cleaned --The photos accompanying this listing are the best statement of condition; please review them carefully before purchasing or making an offer.  Has some very tiny spots of corrosion on the back springs.

This is a superb and very rare genuine Sterling Silver Shaw-Leibowitz customized Parker Doctor's Knife. The front handle is a sterling silver casting of the Statue of Liberty with scrolls above and below that read "GIVE ME" and "YOUR TIRED YOUR POOR". The back side has a casting of the Liberty Bell with a scroll above that reads "LIFE, LIBERTY" and a scroll below that reads "AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS".  The word "STERLING" appears below the lower scroll.  They have signed their work "SHAW-LEIBOWITZ" beside the lower scroll. Notice the detailed works on the handle art, which is what makes Shaw Leibowitz knives ever so desirable, many years later. The main clip point blade is etched on the front side with a ribbon reading "American Independence". The blade is tang stamped "PARKER CUT. CO." over the Parker logo. Very few of these were produced. Knife is in amazing condition.
