Michael May, one of Sheffield England "Ettrick Swayback" with beautiful Amboyna Burl scales and Wharncliffe blade. Really nice Swayback with a 2" Wharncliffe blade made from C80 Carbon steel. The Double Bolsters are made from Brass with a satin finish, and the Liners and Pins are also made from Brass. Specs: Open length: 6.2" Blade length (including Tang) 2.4" Closed length: 3.8"
The Ettrick Swayback is a joy to carry, has a great handle length to blade ratio...great cutting and carving tool, and has an elegant aesthetic with it's long graceful swayback handle, and opposite curving Wharncliffe blade. The double bolsters create a more refined style feature to the knife which usually has only one bolster. Like all Michael May knives, this one is built for the working hand...
