We lost two knife collectors, and close friends, relatively close to one another: "Arch" Larry Archibald and Pete Cohan. They were great men and loved knives. They are so missed.

These knives were made by Ken Tolle of Louisville, KY. He has been making knives out of old Utica parts for about 30 years. He does not attempt to sell them as original. I have 3 of these... different patterns. 1 has the Boker USA tang stamp. The other 2 (this one included) only have the pattern number on the tang.

I think somebody had some of that pattern made in Japan. Maybe back in the 1970's. Maybe Stidham. I know I have owned this pattern with the Catt stamp that was made in Japan.
