Good Morning. 60 going to 73. Mostly cloudy. The only time I ate venison was in Germany. The restaurant was at the foot of the mountain holding Neuschwanstein castle. The venison was tender but I don't recall anything about its flavor. That was over 60 years ago. My only other encounter with a deer ...

Sadly, I labored mightily trying to capture the truly magnificent fire and color of this Henckels MOP Copperhead but failed to obtain any decent result. I can only comment that this 3.5" MOP is something very exceptional. What I see in my hand is one of the most beautiful knives in my collectio...

Dale, I see why you judge it as a Meadowlark. Do you see white tail feathers when it takes off? It confuses me because of so much extensive black coloration. Also the tail strikes me as being too long. I am wondering if it is some sort of hybrid or color morph.

Taiwan has very sophisticated knife production which I learned years ago. Even their one of a kind custom makers can absolutely razzle dazzle with their creations most of which are eagerly purchased by wealthy Chinese.

geocash, Thank you for your comment. I don't know if you have heard this before. When Henckels decided to stop production of pocket knives they contracted with Boker as you correctly judged. But Henckels stipulated that the materials and construction be of higher quality than knives previously produ...

Good Morning. 24 degrees going to 47. Most of the day will be cloudy.
I hope any of our members residing in the Texas Panhandle are safe from the great fire in the area.
It was impressive yesterday how quickly the temperature dropped yesterday morning.
peace & health

Good afternoon. 37 degrees here going to 40. Mostly cloudy. Some drizzle during the night. Last night we had considerable lightning but little thunder. Dave, very glad you made it safely thru the challenging drive. My first purchase of gin this morning: a very large bottle of Tanquery. I will likely...
