There great Troy I’m still yet to find the extra blades , I’ve not had a reply from Case as of yet and I think there be too expensive, especially once sent to the uk , but I’ll keep looking

That’s a really nice slider Paul! Seems to have been a popular pattern during the first half of the 20th century, but not as popular today. I’ve got one with the same blade stamp but a more traditional wood handle and scabbard like a samurai tanto , I picked it up a few years ago at a market for £1 , I got excited as thought it was a tanto I’ll see if I can find a pic as it’s packed away somewhere

Paul, based on the position of the dots and X’s yours is a year 2000 model. And you are correct, blades with a conventional nail nick (rather than a long pull) are from the first year, 1987, and from 1988. By 1989 Case had switched to the long pull blades. Mine came today , sadly no pouch or blades , just the drop point on it , surface rust will come off easily and a lot of it is grime
