Crock sticks is what I use to sharpen. I have an old Empire I use sometimes. I used to carry a Lockwood Bros. Paul Hillborn gave me.

I collect horticultural knives ,mainly what's called rooster combs or farmers jack pattern. Where do you all perform the grafting work, and what is your sharpening method?

How did you sharpen them John?

By the way Roger , if Goins was right that Boker is one of ,if not the most spectacular surviving old knives I have ever seen!
