That Little Bandit is really showin' its colors Joe!
I found and purchased this one in the AAPK stores. Carried one of these for about 12 years and put it to hard use, don't know why they discontinued it, it is a solid workhorse. The last pic is the one I beat the hell out of.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
I've been seeing knives by different cutlers coming out of the Ukraine being offered for a while now so I thought I'd snag one and see what they are all about. This one is from BPS Knives and is called the Adventurer Bush Craft knife. It arrived with leather sheath and fire starter. Over all it is a...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Thanks for the compliments on the Western W36 guys. I've always liked the lines of this model, especially the pommel. Does anyone know how to date a Western knife? As far as I can tell it was made between 1990 and 2007. The tang stamp is WESTERN over U.S.A. W36. The knife looks to have been cleaned...

What ya' all think about this Buck? Can anyone authenticate Signature ? Chuck Buck! I'm not a hand writing expert but that signature looks the same and is etched in the same manner as the signature on my Buck canoe/moose pictured below (sorry the photo doesn't show the signature very well, I'll try...

Great pics guys , here are a few recent pics ::tu:: IMG_9971.jpeg Love the Clod Steel Bushman Paul. Bang for the buck it's hard to beat. All around useful in camp, on the trail, as a machete, as a spear, and just about indestructible. I just wish I could find an original canvas sheath for mine whic...

These are my most used knives ::tu:: IMG_9817.jpeg Great bunch of knives Paul! Especially that Puma White Hunter, love it. Who makes the knives with the ZMK tang stamp? I'm not familiar with that stamp. Thanks Charlie , the white hunter was a grail knife of mine , picked it up last year for £100 :s...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Charles, it's always disappointing to receive a knife that does not meet one's expectations. The grind lines appear weak or soft to my eyes which is too bad given the materials and price. The grind on the blade is fine, my photo may be the reason it looks that way. The problems I had don't affect t...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
This is a new cutler to me, Bordertown Blades made in the USA. This knife is a Sharpfinger clone that they call the Stagecoach Mary. Those of you who have followed my previous posts know I have a soft spot for the Sharpfinger pattern. It has a CPM 154 full tang stainless blade and maple burl scales,...

Re: Knife Photography
Nice photos and knives Iman. Careful you don't get frostbite!
I got a new addition to my Sharpfinger collection. Never heard of this cutler before so I thought I'd check it out. I'll post more pics and a short review on the fixed blades thread.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
That's a beauty, Charlie, particularly it's spear-point/bayonet blade combination which I personally have rarely seen before, they're usually clip-points. Very knice, indeed! 8) Thanks Marco. It's actually two different knives. The top one has a cocobolo handle and the second one is a red linen mic...

Like those Muelas Saquatch! And those Perrins Jamie! All four look like they could get the job done. I picked this Ruike up at my favorite flea market a while back for a goood deal ... had to bring it home. Good carry size ... 8 3/4 and wicked sharp. Good lookin' knife Tony, great color on the hand...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
very nice Charlie...I picked up a couple customs from AAPK FOR SALE section a week or so back. The knives are both made by custom knife maker Fred Perrin, as usual I did no look up or any searching of his works. But after getting them I searched out just a little to see what I got. Anyway found my ...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Equally good lookin' bowie, Charlie. You can almost see the quality oozing from it. Probably much more manageable than the huge one, too. Nice knives you have there! 8) Thanks Marco. Actually both of the Muelas are well balanced and easy to handle. I sometimes find that smaller knives are hard for ...
