Re: Remington Scout Knives
I guess that I need to withdraw these knives from being for sale. It's been brought to my attention that the R3333 has likely had a main blade replacement. A member made a pretty compelling argument towards that end. I appologize for not catching that before listing for sell. ::shrug:: Thanks, Randy...

Re: Wow - did I get steamrolled ....
Hey Jerry, I pop in from time to time. I need to get back on it. I've been doing a lot of shooting lately and the health has been a tad sketchy. Good to hear from an old Jarhead.

Re: Wow - did I get steamrolled ....
That's crazy, at least from my perspective. I've got a few stag NIB Great Easterns that I've listed on here at a loss with no interest. Maybe it's karma. I bought them because I liked them.

Re: Bear and Son question
I have a Bear Stockman with stag handalls that I like. On the other hand I have the 4 Remington scout knife reproductions they made that aren't so great. There was a 5th knife to be made, but I never saw one.

Re: Northfield 891212 Stag Riverboat Gambler
OH, as for the NIB Buck, I got it at Walmart years ago and never broke it out. The pictures, sadly there are none. After my little Army stint in the 1970's, I lost the desire to kill defenseless wild animals. I'm happy for those that do. I've got a bunch of hand guns and rifles, but I just don't hun...

Re: Northfield 891212 Stag Riverboat Gambler
Well - no interest in my knife, so I broke out my NIB Buck fixed blade. In light of that, I'm going to keep my Stag Riverboat Gambler. Thanks for the opportunity to show it.
I hope everybody has a great Christmas and a safe New Year.

Northfield 891212 Stag Riverboat Gambler
image.jpg I am wanting to trade a new in tube Northfield 891212 Genuine Stag Riverboat Gambler for either a new Great Eastern or Canal Street hunting knife with sheath. The Riverboat Gambler comes without an attached shield, but rather has a collar/hat pin. These pins are rare as hen's teeth. I pai...

Dremel for sure. I made that same mistake on a Remington scout several years back. In my view, unless you're working on knives every day, stay away from power tools.
