Was gifted a Kershaw Speedsafe 1830. I have been carrying it. Chinese steel, sharp, light and quick and certainly not safe. I love the thing. I hope it don't bite me.

Thanks guys. Great info. I was completely ignorant. I just love the CCs. If I had ever seen one, I did not know it. I will be on the lookout and certainly an idea for a custom rebuild.

I can't wait to see your lanyard hole work. I have been interested in that part of knives for a while now. You never know how many people want a lanyard until you make one.

I recall the same story a couple decades back but it was a restaurant in Charleston, SC and the person was Barbara Streisand. Just saying. Oh! don't care for either's politics, bye the bye.

I learned a lot guys. Thanks for sharing all the pics. I don't have much old bone. I would not be able to tell if it was good or bad. This pocket worn case was my Dad's. Jigging all but gone. It brought me to this site.

Here is what I ended up with guys. Thanks so much for all the help. The deer antler buttons worked good and I have carried the Remington in my back pocket for a week now and I am getting used to it. I still reach in my front pocket 1st but I will adjust. I made some more antler buttons today.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I've carried this one for two days now to work. It rides in my back pocket. I did not know how I would like that. I have always been a front right pocket kinda guy. The jury is still out. Nothing a few more days will not take care of.
