I too like my snubbies S&W model 66, I shoot it better than any other gun I own IMG_7636.jpeg This model 360j is the smaller frame size like Paladin’s model 60. I need more practice with it Those are great! I have a 4” 65. I completely understand about shooting it better than anything you own. ...

Guys, Here are my last two acquisitions. A Smith & Wesson snubby in 357 mag and a Colt Cobra snubby also in 357 mag. The S&W is clean as can be so I'm guessing minimal usage. The Cobra has never been fired. I sure have a hard time passing on these stainless snubbys. Ray Very nice! I always ...

What was the wrong caliber? That was my tongue in cheek wise crack about it being a 9mm. Colonel Jeff Cooper said the CZ75 would be the greatest modern fighting pistol if only it were in 45acp. For the record, my preferences aside, there’s room for all the calibers at my house. I don’t discriminate...

Very nice! I want to say there was a Dr. knife with a corkscrew shown here years ago, but that may just be my imagination. Regardless, that’s a rare knife in my limited experience. Very, very cool!

Nice job on that marking knife, Reverand. If they're pretty that's a plus but they need to be effective and handy. Oh that poor carpenter pencil! If you put a chisel edge, on both sides, along the wide of the lead, to a sharp point, it will give you the sweetest fine line and long lasting fine line...

Wow! A farmer’s whittler? Who’d a thunk it? I have never seen a farmer’s jack in the wild. I’d like to though. Thanks Floyd, JP, and Wade I'm glad there's still people following and talking about old knives. I hope Bryan always keeps this great archive of knowledge and pictures intact. It's a shame...

That’s sooo wonderful that you’re on the mend. I’ve witnessed similar stories in other people and it’s much more common than you’d think. Good doctors who actually care and know their stuff are getting harder and harder to find. Lord willing He’ll lead you to one. Good for you taking your health car...

That’s awesome. I can see how it would be very useful. Any time I have to tighten a torx screw on a knife it seems I never have the right size. Very cool.RedRaiderRick wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 5:48 pm With the new driver I was able to tighten screws on 10 knives and reverse clips on 2. Not sure I've justified the $75 price yet but whatever.

Ok, not a knife per se, but it’s sharp and it has cutters to cut wood, sooooo… I’ve been looking hard for a Record 044 plough plane. They haven’t been made in years, they’re English, they’re hard to come by on this side of the pond, and everyone wants one, so usually out of my reach. Well today afte...

I love a Commander size 1911! But the only lightweight 1911 I have is actually my wife’s Kimber Ultracarry, Officer’s size. I’m not a Kimber fan, but it’s a good little pistol nonetheless. What brand is yours? The light weight commander in 9mm is made by "Tisas" in Turkey. I became aware ...
