This is first Simmons Hardware that I have seen without the E.C., Bernard says it is the E.C.Simmons economy brand. It was one of those listings with blurry black and white pictures and knife as only description. A lucky win for me for a change.

I have been grubbing around the homeplace with this knife. I knew it had it must have been a second because the tang has what looks like Hammer ground off. It had been in a knife roll for a year or so before I ever noticed the bolsters. ::dang:: I like it even more now. lol charlie

Het B, looks like the only stamp used in US and Germany. Germany 1869-1910 and US 1899-1920s. Nice old knife.

Re: Pearl 3 Blade Empire

These were made supposedly by Parker with several different vintage brands with same blade design. Germany is etched on one of the blades. I have one but cant think of the brand. Here is a link to another one that sold on ebay with a description of where they came from. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Napan...

Re: Elephant Toe bargain Heads Up

I got mine in this weekend. Smudges looked like they would clean up easy. Looks like some type of tape residue. I am disappointed though, there is no opening or closing snap. No mention of that in their description. I am trying to get an exchange or money back. Waiting on response will post when I g...
