Thanks guys for your input... Unable to find any info on my little project. As suggested I may stencil the names of the manufacture and put them on the cases. Thanks again for the input.

Re: knife wooden cases
Just a quick note: these are wine boxes with the wine maker's name burned into the boxes. pretty classy. I want to put different knives bucks,Imperal, case etc, in the boxes, I have been collecting and not much organizing. The color coding would help to identify what was in the box at a glance. So p...

knife wooden cases
I just purchased 10 wooden cases for knife displays. I wanted to color code them according to the manufactures color code for their knives. They would be Case,Buck,Camillus,Imperial etc. Any ideas where I could find those colors or if even they exist?

RS4233 main blade
Looking for main blade for the Remington boy scout RS4233. The rest of the blades are fairly decent, need to be cleaned up. Main blade is tipped maybe a third gone. If I can't find one I will reprofile the existing blade and drop the old soldier in my pocket. Thanks for looking!!

Re: Why do there seem to be so many broken Camillus Military Issue Pocket Knives?
I don't see other broken parts on the Camillus military knives. So it would lead me to believe the back spring material was poor in quality or the placing of the back spring (incorectly) put stress on the frame and or the spring it self.JMO.

proud blade/broken back spring material?
Just picked up a couple of Camillus (beaters)main blades are standing proud. What makes a blade become proud? One way to bring it down into the well I believe is to grind off a small portion of the kick. Right? Also picked up a Keen cutter three blade with a back spring broken. Not sure how to go ab...

It’s a lot easier to let them go when you know who they will spend eternity with. We will miss them but rejoice in their home coming. PTL May his family find solace and peace at this time . According to the Word those who know the Lord will be reunited with those who go before us. Praise His Name.

You might be a knife nut if you wear a shirt that says “This is what a real knife collector looks like” or a picture of a knife on the t shirt that says,Knifeoligest.
