Thank you for the reply. It's tarnished up pretty good but I do not believe it has been tampered with at all. Still has all the factory lines on the blade. Gonna try to clean it up some... The trapper you have is a 1965-69, highly desirable. A great start for any collection. It's in excellent condition too. I usually just buy what I like and can afford. I have several old ones that are mostly ones passed down but love the look of the older ones myself. Have tons of newer ones though....

Went to a local gun show yesterday and while they didn't have many Case knives I was able to pick up a 3 nice older red bone knives.
