The trapper you have is a 1965-69, highly desirable. A great start for any collection. It's in excellent condition too. I usually just buy what I like and can afford. I have several old ones that are mostly ones passed down but love the look of the older ones myself. Have tons of newer ones though....

I had wondered about that myself. Not sure if it left the factory like that or if it was done after but all I have seen are the other way.
