Re: paymnt method

Because there's limited protection for customers when using money orders and peer-to-peer payments, we need sellers to meet specific criteria before they can accept these payment methods. I'll send you an email shortly with more details.

Re: tax

For sales to states where you have a nexus, you would be responsible for collecting & paying the tax. For sales to states where you do not have a nexus, the buyer is technically responsible for paying the tax.

Re: double order?

I'm not seeing anything at the moment that would allow for a double sale so long as the quantity available was set at 1. Is there any possibility the available inventory was accidentally set at a quantity > 1?

Re: tax

hi Pearlgearl, AAPK does not currently have a feature that can do this. I've read that PayPal users have been able to fairly quickly achieve what you are trying to do by downloading transaction history information for the desired time-frame & then using excel or google sheets to sort. More speci...

Re: Trouble loading pictures after the latest IOS update

Hi Mark, Do you have chrome or Firefox on your iPad? It would be helpful to see if this is happening across browsers or on Safari only. The fact that restarting the iPad resolves the issue suggests there could be a memory or cache-related problem. A first stab at remedying this would be to clear the...

Re: Not getting bid, or sold confirmation emails?

After a little more digging, I see that your isp is using "Junk Email Protection from Red Condor Spam Filter System". AAPK emails are likely being quarantined by this "system". If you know how to access your quarantined messages and set your account to accept AAPK emails, that wi...

Re: Not getting bid, or sold confirmation emails?

I just sent an email using same mechanism used for sale & offer notifications. The AAPK server is showing that it was accepted by your emil account.

Do you have a spam folder you can check?

Thanks,
Bryan

Re: Not getting bid, or sold confirmation emails?

Hi Mark, Automated emails are sent for both sale confirmations and offers notifications. You should be getting them. I'm guessing the AAPK sent emails are getting blocked as spam by your email account provider. I'll try sending you a couple today to see if the AAPK server shows them as delivered. If...

We do not have that feature at this time.

If your AAPK Sales are going through PayPal, you might find their transaction download options useful.

Re: AKC Switch blades

Yes. A genuine AKC weather AKC World or Italy/traditional will have a tang stamp that has the lettering "hollow" rather than "filled in" I'm trying to get confirmation on this from AKC directly, but I've been told that the AKC World knives often have the "filled in" ta...

Re: China made clones at AAPK?!?! WTF?

I hope I'm not the only guy disgusted by the number of chinese clone knives all of a sudden getting peddled here! Could you help quantify this? How frequently are you encountering counterfeit or unauthorized products on AAPK? In the past, we have actively removed listings of such items and permanen...

Re: Buyer made a purchase of 0 stock item

Hi Rob, I haven't been able to identify anything that might have cause this, yet. However, if it turns out to be a coding error that I overlooked, I plan to update the checkout software in the next few weeks. This update should resolve any related problems. If it happens again, please let me know. T...

We currently have an archives section that has sale date. The sold knives eventually make it there, but it can take a while.

I understand your desire to add hyperlinks to your listings and to allow customers to follow your store and sign up for email notifications. I think these are excellent ideas. However, as usual, we've had to prioritize other critica...

Hey Chet, Just to clarify... I don't want to make the wrong assumption. Are you referring to your product list that is accessible via your seller's dashboard (screenshot below) ...? product_list.jpg If so, there is a button you can click to help hunt down an item if you haven't found that (screensho...

Will for sure consider adding more sorting options. I'll have to look under the hood to see how complex & involved it could get, but if not too bad, I may be able to make a few improvements over the next few days. ::tu::

It's not your settings. I'm wondering if a counter offer was accepted. That would clear out all others. If one wasn't accepted, I'll have to examine another possible cause.

Re: paying invoices

I've notice this happens if the customer is not logged in when they try to pay. When an offer is accepted, only the customer who put in the offer is able to buy & pay for that item for a period of a few days. If they are not logged in when trying to pay, AAPK has no way to link them as the custo...
