Re: Help! My ZT301 is rattling!
So the guy in the first video recommends Vaseline. Is there any reason I shouldn't use Vaseline to grease it up? Just keep in mind that Vaseline is flammable. So are hot Cheetos! Can you believe people still eat them anyway? I'll keep my knife, and my Cheetos, away from any open flames.

Re: Help! My ZT301 is rattling!
I know Kershaw would service it for free, but I'd rather do it myself. I guess I'm just funny that way. As far as sharpening, my Sharpmaker takes care of that.

Help! My ZT301 is rattling!
I'm starting to hear a rattling sound in my ZT301. I watched a video on YouTube several months ago where a guy took his 301 apart. He talked briefly about the tension bar rattling when it's loose. I figure that's exactly what is happening with my knife. If anyone has experience with this, I'd seriou...

I bought this Rough Rider trapper for use as a beater knife. The main blade locks, and then you have to squeeze the secondary blade to release the lock.
I have many knives, but I can't think of any other knives I've owned with a lock like this one.

Re: How to sharpen my leek ?
I'm sorry to hear about your sharpening woes. I also have a leek, the rainbow one. You're absolutely right about the thin blade. The Spyderco Sharpmaker seems like nearly the perfect tool for maintaining the leek. I wouldn't try to sharpen my leek with a flat stone. As always, don't over-sharpen the...

I've bought several knives from www.knifecenter.com, including my digi-camo Paramilitary2.
I have no complaints.

Re: official SPYDERCO : Pick Ups , Pics , & Q&A thread
Here we go Spyderco friends. Went to the store, traded in four knives I did not need and picked up these two. Manix 2 is what I was after, but when I checked the used knife counter I found the Delica 4. One in the pocket and one on the belt ::groove:: Now...... I will have the dough for a PM2, but ...

Re: OFFICIAL Show yer PM1 & PM2 - C81 Para-Military
I talked about it with Josh in PMs but I see I never responded in this thread. Mia culpa. "The difference" I can't tell is between one model of Spyderco and another. They all look alike to me except for the occasional handle material or handle color. Maybe if I was into Spydercos like y'a...

IT WILL STAY FOR NOW. ::nod:: ::tu:: .....I DO HAVE A SPARE POLISHED THOUGH ::hmm:: ::super_happy:: I decided to keep the black pocket clip on mine. It's a good match with the black blade. BUT, it would be pretty cool to try and customize it. If I could get a nice camouflage pattern on the pocket c...

Re: pull through knife sharpeners
You know what, I think I'd like to change my opinion. My buddy brought me a cheap knife from his tackle box. It was in pretty good shape, except for the nicks in the blade's edge. I have an India stone that I've been meaning to start using. So I put the stone to work. I'm not an expert by any means...

You should pick one up Phil! I really don't think you would be disappointed. Maybe just go to your local respectable knife shoppe and try out a Paramilitary 2. You know, take it for a test drive so to speak. Then do what feels right.

My new pocket clip finally arrived yesterday! I'm not sure if pocket clips count as a pick up, but I'm posting it anyway. The black clip that ships with the Endura just doesn't fit the knife. This is much better.

Re: Are Kershaw flipper open knives legal in Pennsylvania ?
The Kershaw Nura is on sale at Knife Center right now. It has no mechanical assist. But it is a flipper, and it opens as smooth as butter on the ball bearing. It comes in 3" or 3.5" length. It can be yours for about $20. Again, check the blade length laws in your locality.

When life gives you lemons, make Spyderade.
I recently purchased a CRKT Ripple from an unnamed online retailer. I've seen mixed reviews for this knife, some good and some bad. The overall design was kind of neat and unusual. I'm a fan of flippers, so I decided to give it a try. Well, it didn't work right. The blade has no thumb stud, thumb ho...

Re: Unfair reviews at Knife Center!
I've found that reviews are marginally useful at best, for a variety of reasons. While we're talking, what is the button on the butt end of the knife shown ? Looks like it slides up and down. Is it some sort of locking mechanism ? That's my bad. I should have posted more pics. The slide is for adju...

Unfair reviews at Knife Center!
I just bought a Nura after watching some positive reviews on YouTube. I like it a lot. It's on sale. I only paid about $20. I figure I can beat it up without too much guilt later on. Looks like it could take it, seems sturdy enough. So I looked at the reviews, and some of them are really stupid. One...
