Two Hard To Find Antique Knife Patterns

Picked up a pair of unusual pocket knives this past weekend. One is a Doctors knife with a cork screw on back marked - Zenith Marshal Wells. The other is an odd shaped lobster with a tortoise shell nail cleaner on the back, marked OVB - Hibbard Spencer Barlett & Co. Both of these knives are like...

Re: Robeson Pocket eze

I think you could find a used one for around $100 bucks to carry and think of gramps every day. I would keep your Grandfathers knife as is. To me that would be more meaningful.

Ebay would be a better place if all the knife sellers were as honest as him!
I have bought from him before ebay existed, and continue to respect his honesty to this day.

Help Identify The Maker Of This Minitature Knife

I've had this knife for many years and can't find any info on who made this knife. It's 1 1/4" closed, has Ivory or Mastodon Ivory handles. The blade and integral liners - bolsters are Damascus steel. It's a lockback that locks up tightly in the open position. The blade is stamped with what I t...

Re: Identity Unknown

Looks like the knife was possibly made from what was originally a cork screw?
This is from Don Bull's "Pocket Guide to Corkscrews" page 163. Printed in 1999.
How big is the knife in the closed position?

that some of the items dated 1970 is now considered

I must be a historical man then.......

If you look closely I think it's 1940 not 1970

Re: A strange knife for sure.

At 2 7/8" closed, the OP knife is what I call a Reverse Peanut. Some call this a Dog Leg or Serpentine Jack. Here's a pair of New York Knife Co. knives. The top knife is a Peanut, the bottom knife is a reverse peanut. As you can see the handle is the same shape for both knives, but the blades o...

Re: Can anyone help I.D. these knives?

Here are a few photos of a KA-BAR made Knife Fork & Spoon set with the Magnetic Cutlery monogram stamp. Note the fork has the KA-BAR Pat. Nov. 5th 1907 stamp on back. I cant say I've ever seen a KA-BAR tool kit, so maybe the OP knife is German or American? Along side is a Napanoch tool kit handl...

Re: Can anyone help I.D. these knives?

The top photo looks like a tool kit handle knife with the Magnetic Cutlery monogram stamp. Possibly made by Union Cutlery Co. Look inside the well at the opposite end of the blade. You might see a pin to hook the tool from the kit. Next to the pin is a block to prevent the tool from closing into the...

This is an old J.A. Henckels jack. The blade is stamped J.A.Henckels with the Twins logo. Not marked Germany or Solingen. It's 4 3/4" closed.

Ray,
LG4 page 247 Swell Center Serpentine 4 blade pen knife. A real beauty, in super condition. And a first class maker.
