Re: Oiling stag handles
So I have been keeping some packets of silica in the drawer with my knives. Am I making a mistake and should I be worried about drying out my stag and bone handles?
Also does Renwax accomplish the same thing as mineral oil in protecting the stag / bone handles? Thanks in advance for any help.

So does a Pen knife have to have a pen blade? What is the difference between a pen knife and a half whittler? Can something as large as a moose with a blade at each end be considered a pen knife or is it just to large? Yes, a pen knife must have a pen blade. These were used to trim quills to use as...

Thankyou Qtcut5. I appreciate the comment. I do have a Stag mini trapper, but only wanted to show some modern patterns from Case. I am missing a couple though and will continue to look for the right ones.

Here is some stag from the XX era. I believe it would be from the early XX era, but would like an experts opinion. My other XX era stag looks more like the stag of 65-69.

I have been mixed about whether I should hit it with a shotgun or use it in the shop. My frugal side says use it and beat it up, but the ...
