Re: Case Tested Earlier? Comments welcome and appreciated!
Wow, nice trove of Case knives that you picked up there! I don't know much about the box, but it looks older than dirt. If you can figure out when Case last had salesmen wearing out shoe leather to sell knives, that might help with an approximate minimum age. Glad to hear that you are feeling bette...

Re: Case Tested Earlier? Comments welcome and appreciated!
Good morning, Sir! Glad to see your back in the saddle again. Great looking Case knives in the rolls but the box is way out of my league. Is the medallion attached to the box and what about the dark circle on the end? The material inside the box looks to have a permanent crease from something, a si...

Re: Case Tested Earlier? Comments welcome and appreciated!
Beautiful pair of Catts. They are called plush tops because of the crushed velvet type material that the knives rested on. The tops could cover a box that would contain inventory of the same knives on plush top. Some were designed to tilt up a bit and were pinned to the box so the top could toggle ...

Case Tested Earlier? Comments welcome and appreciated!
I picked this up in my quest to find knife glory! I just don’t know much about it! I believe it’s from around 1915. I also know thanks to a friend of mine it is a lid or top on a counter display/ storage unit. Any and all information is greatly appreciated like Rarity?, ideas on value? And I know th...

Looks a little like the one I have . Not the right handle and is missing Under W.R.Case & Sons Bradford PA. I've been told made around 1920 . I've seen one other that had a Pearl Handle that was made for the Bradford Gun Club in Bradford PA. I appreciate your comment. Thanks for the help. One i...

Thanks Tom.olderdogs1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 12:41 am Hard to place a value on it as I have not seen another or don’t have any comparable sales so worth what someone will pay when exposed to the market for a reasonable time. Probably won’t bring a great big price but definitely desirable in my opinion.

1903-05 ok. What value in this condition do you think Tom? I appreciate it cause I sure thought it was a fake because of the lack of a s on Son.olderdogs1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 12:28 am W R Case & Son was only in business from 1903-05 and they were contract knives. 77 Blue Scroll Set
I haven’t posted in a while. Had some health problems and well plenty of other problems. Lol I just wanted to say I appreciate Bryan and all the administrators and what they do … but thanks to Bryan for sure. I picked up a nice set of Case knives and I thought I would share with all my knife friends...

Re: 6235 1/2 - Bone, Delrin or "Frankenknife"????
I'd like opinions on this one please. The shield is obviously the shield used by Case in the 70's on delrin and I think smooth composite handle knives (I don't remember exactly what range of years), and the mark side looks like delrin to me from the pictures, but the tang stamp is clearly 6235 1/2....

Just inherited around 50 knives from my great grandpa. One was this old Puma 675 stock knife. I believe it was never used and includes the box. I was interested if anyone knew the value, specifics of this knife, or any additional information. There is a serial code type number 62273 located on the ...

I have a few inverted stamp Bucks, I was curious, are they more collectible or more valuable? I have a 110 inverted stamp Buck that I carry and use, I never thought of it as being a "collectible" ::hmm:: The inverted Buck stamp is earlier. There are several variations and yes they are mor...

I thought I would add to my post. I have recently acquired another inverted stamp Buck 110. Let me know what you guys think and help on the age would be great. Without details on the rear bolster rivets it's hard to be precise about the variation, but that looks like a 3rd Version from the 1967-197...
