There really hasn't been much done with all steel.........#36 Pattern in 2010. #25 Barlow Pattern and #73 Scout in 2011, and the recent Boys knife 2012/13 and first run of the #92'sand #45's in 2012

Satin finish on the Northfield Brand has happened quite frequently as early as 2008 as you noted ...mainly on the #23 and #73 patterns but also on the #53/54 pattern........some of these are noted on the " Yearly Inventory " and others slip by...............most recently on the new 2012 #4...

925 SS refers to the sterling silver shields ....the Mt. Man from the 13th Annual Series as well as the Trapper from the 14th Annual Series used 420HC steel for the blades......

You're right.....GEC will be coming out with their #85's with a clip and the JBF Champlin Teardrop Jack will have the spear as in the add posted on GEC's website...
