Re: Price Increases
I'm hoping the prices come back down once the pandemic ends and people have better things to do rather than try to flip knives for a profit.

Re: Secondary Market Prices
I've seen a number of GEC fans moving on to other brands. If they strike out for a GEC they just purchase a competitor's knife. Some have found they like the competitor knives as much and are starting to collect them instead of GEC. It's nice to be able to take your time to pick a knife you want and...

Re: Secondary Market Prices
Don't bother checking the AAPK store for GEC knives. Everyone who is listing on there is looking to retire.
It's sad this madness has drove people to have to spend their money on other knife brands. Hope GEC can find a way to increase production soon, to cut down on the ridiculous flipping.

Re: Predicting GEC sale prices
Honestly the knives aren't worth what people are asking for them now. They're high now because people don't like to be told they can't have something, so they shell out more to have said item. This issue started when flippers started buying the knives and listing them on eBay. Collectors couldn't ge...

Re: 12 knives sold in under 10 seconds
I agree there has to be favoritism from a few sellers to a select group of buyers. I don't care how good your luck is, if your picking up one of each cover in this madness, you have a connection. It also irks me to see the buyers post the entire run of the pattern that they were able to acquire know...

Re: #19 Little Rattler Still in stock.
I think these are only obtainable because of how small they are. My kingwood was nice, but I couldn't warm up to the size, so had to let it go.

Re: GEC Auctions of Note
GEC prices on eBay have gone crazy. I don't even check eBay for GEC finds anymore.

Re: The Upcoming #74
I ended up passing on the forum knife. Logged in and saw it wasn't the cotton sampler blade I thought it would be based on the picture at the beginning of the thread. Hope everyone who wanted one got one.
Curious what knife the cotton sampler blade is for.

Re: Do you store your GEC knives in their tube?
I store my collector GECs in tubes, and users in a drawer. I have a few in a knife roll as well, but they aren't part of the rotation.

Nice to see the forum knife is a cotton sampler blade. I don't currently own one, and missed GECs original release. Hope I'm able to pick one up when they're released.

Re: UK Pen Knife
I like the UKPK. It's something different from their standard locking knives.
Currently I have the Blue FRN with GIN-1 steel and I've been thinking about picking up the Dark Blue FRN with S110v blade steel.
