Re: Case 61549L "Copperlock"
The only thing CopperLocks have in common with 49 pattern CopperHeads is the CopperHead bolster hump that shields the corner of the blade tang when the blade is closed. That is exactly correct. *1549L was a brand new pattern introduced in 1998. Most were bone, hence the 6, one blade (1), pattern 54...

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Just picked these up this past weekend. Anybody out there know anything about them. Probably came from the Case Encyclopedia set. Box has that hand wrote on Item sticker. Can't find much else about them.

Re: Case "Jaguar" set
I just looked on E-Bay and there are 2 pearl handle ones up for sale. 1 is asking 1500.00 they other is asking 550.00. All I can say is good luck to both of the sellers. I have seen strange things take place on the Bay.

Re: Case "Jaguar" set
Nice set of Jaguar's. I was talking to a "older" collector friend of mine about this thread. Man did his eye rise up ::idea:: . He asked me to follow him to his basement. Once he remembered what he brought me down there for he pulled his Jaguar set out of the safe and was showing them off....

Re: Case Russlock knives
[quote="Winnipeg Gentleman"]Barnwood, a while ago you posted a picture of your Russlock collection, the one that has several Russlocks in the large Russlock-shaped wooden case. I remember seeing that on TV, on a knife-selling show called "Cutlery Corner." Is that where you bought...

Thank you.Vit_213 wrote:It's not wildlife series. This is a custom Large Trapper #8 knife - http://camillusknives.ru/camillus/foldi ... 8_en.shtml
The gold medallion was probably bought at auction after Camillus bankruptcy.

#8 trapper
Does anyone have any information on this knife. I believe it to be from the wildlife series. The gold charging bear medillon is what is making me Guess that but I can't find anything about the knives with the rosewood handles. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Bone handled fish knives
I had put this green bone scaled knife on E-Bay to sell and sold. The buyer returned it saying that the scales weren't original. I received this knife from a Uncle back in the 80's an couldn't imagine him going through the trouble of replacing the handles. The knife is in really great condition. I g...

Re: Case Russlock knives
I have collected and been carrying a russlock since they first come out in 2000. It took me about a year to perfect the OHO method. It was'nt easy but with plenty of practice it can be done.Nice stag knife you have there. This is my lastest set of Russlocks I just purchased.

Sut: Have you seen this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N3J3c5u-vE&t=5s You can hear the snap from the backspring as he opens and closes the knives. A lot of the noise you hear when he opens the blade is the sound of the liner lock snapping into position...it's not all coming from the b...

Re: CASE KNIVES IMPORTED FROM GERMANY
Barnwood42, according to info on the Case Collectors Club forum your knife is a 9-3/4 inch Hunter made by Boker on contract for a Case. The handle is Thuya wood. 233 of that model were made. FWIW the OP there had one of the lockbacks with the original box which had a factory label dated March 2002....

Re: CASE KNIVES IMPORTED FROM GERMANY
I believe the second knife was made by Boker for Case around 2001. I could be wrong as I am not an expert on newer Case knives but that is my recollection. Tom Tom Thank you for your response. I have found a little information on the imported from Germany knives from the original post, but still se...
