Re: Have a Razor I Can not find
It is a slow process guys, you need to have enough molasses to put your object into a container and walk away and leave it for a week or two depending on the amount of rust. after a couple of weeks take it out and use a toothbrush under water to clean it off and see where you are at, it may need mor...

Have a Razor I Can not find
Hello, I have not been on the boards long so far my only contribution has been using molasses to remove rust from blades. I used it on the blade I am on here asking about and I am sorry I do not have photos today but will take them and post them if you want them, I just took it out of the molasses y...

Re: Opinions on cleaning

Re: Opinions on cleaning

This little toy truck was so rusty the wheels would not turn three weeks in molasses I took it out and took a look and put it back one more week, here is what I ...

Re: listing removed from auction site
if it was Bay and you were not facing the proper direction while writing your listing that may be why your listing got thrown out, i have been a seller on there for more years than I care to remember and I swear they need to stop coming up with so many 'new' ideas that drive the sellers nuts and mak...

Re: I have another puzzler
Hey thank you so much, when I looked at the blades last night I didnt think it looked like it was for much more than light duty work, but looked too masculine to be a lady's fruit knife. Thank you for the help, do you have any knowledge of how I would date it? Blue

Re: Opinions on cleaning
I am just new on this site, and didnt notice the age of this post when I was reading it, but I started out in a different antique metal category and I used to use something cheap easy to find and a little weird I have to admit. I heard about it from my dad who was in the Navy in WW2 he said the Navy...

Re: new here, enjoy knives, loads to learn

If I f...

Re: new here, enjoy knives, loads to learn
sorry for not getting back so quickly I am dealing with a rotten cold that keeps knocking me flat, I do have other views of the knife it is a pocket knife single blade, I do not see any indication of where it is made, only 2 1/2" long and 1/2" wide at thickest end. all metal three rivets ,...

new here, enjoy knives, loads to learn
I really enjoy knives, usually pick up one or two at a flea market just because something about them catches my eye. so far have done pretty well, but I have loads to learn. Stumbled on this site and was tickled to death. If I could ask a question, I have one knife I am having trouble identifying it...
